Dads at Work
Alex Carpenter is Associate Lecturer in Entrepreneurship and the Startup Programs Manager at the University of Sydney Business School. Alex became involved in startups because he is passionate about solving problems and serving people.
Nigel Kow, Entrepreneur and Mountaineer; Founder and animator, Epicentre and Director of Manaslu Foundation in Nepal. He is nearly a husband to his Nepali girlfriend/ if it hadn’t been for Covid-19 that prevented him from flying.
Dr David Ang is a Christian, married to Amy for the past 25 years. They are blessed with 3 children, 23, 19 and 17. As ED of Zion Investments & Consulting, he runs businesses relating to Internationals Students and Entrepreneurship. A Chartered Accountant, he chairs the Finance Committee of TTC and is Board co-Chairman and CEO of CaringSG Ltd, a not-for-profit organisation.

The 4Cs litmus
1. *Cashflowing*: is it profitable and cashflowing for the reasons as stated in my presentation
2. *Community*: what are the benefits brought to the community, tangible and intangible, short and long term
3. *Climate*: what is the impact it has on the environment, short and long term
4. *Continuity and covering*: is it sustainable as opposed to being just a one hit wonder (fly by night) with the appropriate “covering” structure eg coaching, accountability, governance and reporting
If these bases are covered, there is a good chance of success
