Treasures in Darkness – DEA-CO-NI-EA (Pt 1)

The call of life is a call to find out what you have been missing all these years. It may take more than you are willing to give, longer than you are willing to wait, but it is in the giving and waiting that life is mastered. And, like bread – once the dough is mastered and cooked, there is no going back. Each stage of the process is dependent on the completion of every other previous stage immediately before it. The whole process, once finished is irreversible.

When the Lord visits his people, he visits all of his people. When the seasons change from winter to spring to summer, this is not done in the corner of one state. The whole country is affected. This is the business of favour – it brings fresh opportunities to trust God in unique ways as we lay aside old fears and move forward in faith. A full belly and a well-stocked pantry should be sufficient cause for some serious soul searching. Why has He given us such favour and abundance? To what end have I been the privileged recipient of supply and overflow?
