Papa, take me with you

Voice of Elijah – 10 July 2021 / e7k / audio cafe – Ps 39, 40

[Editor’s note (Geoffrey Chew): Come to Abba Father as children. He takes us, weak and worn, battered by sin, stuck-in-dirty-ruts, and cleans us up, puts us on his heavenly motorbike to ride pillion with Him in the adventure to restore The Kingdom. All of Creation waits for these whom Papa makes new and will reveal for His Glory. The enemies of this Sovereign work will perish to be seen no more. We who are the beneficiaries of this Amazing Grace, respond in worship and praise. Now we are awake to the Truth: we are His redeemed ones. All our days are written in His scroll. Now we stay awake and take our part in His work with everything we have, to seek out those ones Papa wants to clean up and put on His restoration adventure too.

“And he said: “Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore, whoever takes the lowly position of this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. And whoever welcomes one such child in my name welcomes me” (Ying Hwee)

YH’s dream: The Father knows us intimately. On the open scroll before him is every detail of each one of us. Ps 40:7

Lord, make me to know my end and the measure of my days that I may know how frail I am… And now Lord, what do I wait for? My hope is in You. Deliver me from my transgressions, out of the pit, the miry clay. Many are your wonderful works; too many your thoughts towards me. I delight to do Your Will and you Law is in my heart.

What grace! “But I am poor and needy; yet the Lord thinks upon me. You are my help and deliverer, do not delay O my God.”

Let us exalt His Name together forever. My story, my song praises my Saviour all the day long. I stand Amazed.

The Lord says, “You are my beloved children, I am pleased with you.”

Rest and be still before the Lord, to consume His flesh and blood – the bread of Life, heavenly manna. Breathe on us today, let every part of our body, spirit and heart be part of your body, spirit and heart (Y.H.)

[Rom 8:9 -23] The whole of creation waits for the revelation of the sons of God, waiting for our manifestation. We humbly ask for all your sons to sit at your feet, quieten ourselves and hear Your Spirit. Teach us Lord to shelter under your wings.

When I look into you holiness, all the things that surround become shadows in the light of you. I worship you Lord! Not with my lips, but with everything in me: the way I live, think, feel; those whom I love; my vocation, actions, posture, attitude; every part of me, be a worship unto You. All the days I live, let it be a continuous abiding in the character and heart of Christ.

GJ: The Lord says, when we call him Abba Father, the point is not the mouthing words. When we come to him, we come as little children seeking our Father, “Papa, Guojin is here. I’m here, Papa.” Yearn and long for Abba as he longs and yearns for us to reach out to him. Embrace. Be enfold.

YH: The Lord says, “I have chosen you my son. That is good enough. No need for comparing, qualifying. I have chosen you. You are my son.”

Rom 8:26 – the Spirit helps us… to transform from darkness to revealing the life and light of Christ as Sons.

Rom 8:31-39, Nothing in all creation can separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus.

Dan 12:1-9 – the Lord is unsealing the words of the scroll; God will reveal something unprecedented, we are being made to understand the history the Lord has already written.

Dan 12:7 – the angel of revelation tells us: It is God’s work that comes into completion, “when the power of the holy people has been completely shattered, all these things shall be finished.” It is not our work, it is not our reliance on whatever is manmade – even holy systems – but ONLY HIS WORK that comes into completion.

Eph 1:3-22 – We ask for the revelation of Christ to be fully formed in us; that our understanding may be certain, that Christ is in us, our Hope of Glory.

Awake! Stay awake! Stay alert! Cultivate faith. Grow in faith for Abba Father, Jesus the Son and the Holy Spirit.

Let us run towards the prize set before us, forgetting what lies behind, reaching for the abundant Life of Christ. We declare, “Let the best of our days be ahead of us”. Not what the world defines as ‘best’, but what the Lord defines as ‘best’.
