Firstly before I give you details I have to say that we can’t disclose all info about what the platform is and how it works, since we are trying to get it funded, so have to maintain some level of confidentiality.
Having said that the platform, is not any programme based movement such as the volunteer holiday etc. We offer direct assistance for the stories the orgs want to highlight, by focusing just on the people they need to help.
As mentioned the platform is layered, 1st layer people and their stories, 2nd layer how to help (products for purchase that can help the person/story, online marketplace with payment gateway) and 3rd layer who is helping them (the people their helping, here is where the orgs are finally highlighted).
These stories are divided into several micro-sites. The platform is firstly for the people, donors to help those in need, its visual, the platforms are highly optimised and marketed by digital marketing, funded by grants and venture capital money. Orgs that want to be apart of the platform are given their own micro-site, integrating the platforms online CRM/SEO and Payment Gateway to assist the orgs get the upper hand, orgs will have a CMS access to upload limited range of content, stories and products they want to sell.
We will manage the online marketing, design, copywriting, social media interaction, search marketing, etc to get the stories highlighted. This is leveraged on the platforms online marketing activities, which enables orgs to do this in a free way and get maximum mileage which otherwise will cost them 1000s every month.
So they get a free highly optimised micro-website, complete with social media integration, search engine optimization and built in payment gateway, with design/copywriting etc done as well. But we remain a platform that promotes the stories and individuals and not the orgs, at the final checkout the visitors get to contact the orgs directly and if they want to do direct donations then we provide a contact for the donors to the orgs directly.
Our scope is stories/people, purchase products made by persons that make a living to support themselves through the help of orgs and only then finally the orgs themselves. Notice the first 2 layers are for those who need help, those who are trying to help themselves and then finally the orgs who offer these individuals to do just that, get help and to help themselves through their support.
Where the orgs may not have enough resources to market these products created by the people they try to help, we create the platform that has a robust online marketing plan to assist to reach a wider audience and for the right cause, for the people they want to help, we do not help the orgs market themselves but through this effort the traffic will eventually reach the orgs. I
hope that paints a better picture for everyone. Thanks for the question Ps. G. We will release the full services profile once we are done of the fund-raising, but to those with access to grants that want to look at the business plan, we will be happy to send it to you.
