Harpazo

Harpazo in Acts 8:39 : Philip’s snatching away (gk. harpazo – “seize by” (intention and) force”, “snatch” as by robbery, “carry away”) illustrates God’s plan for the church to be “caught up” into dimensions beyond the ordinary space and time continuum. Trials on earth are rehearsals in heaven of a much greater “catching away” and a shadow of “things which shall be hereafter” (Rev 4:1).

Every snatching away in Scripture whether of Enoch, Elijah, Jesus or, here, Philip is a template in your salvation history where God would bring you from where you are to where you ought to be. These are the days of harpazo where supernatural signs are happening as the Bride is “caught up” and translated into higher dimensions that defies the logic of earth’s point of view. When you experience harpazo, your entire world shifts into warp speed and the paradigm you are used to becomes outmoded and obsolete.
